St. Mary's Wills and Estate Planning Seminar




On Saturday, April 10, 2010, St. Mary's Monsignor John Dillon Day
Heritage Society
hosted a Wills and Estate Planning Seminar. 
The program
was designed to provide alumni, parents, and friends of St. Mary’s with valuable
information and to promote understanding of the potential impact of the creation
of wills and trusts as useful tools in family financial planning.

Richard Ely, Director of Gift Planning and Stewardship, at The Catholic
Foundation joined as the presenter. David Drislane ’48, Chairman of the
District Rotary Foundation Permanent & Major Giving Committee, presented
information on the value of creating a Charitable Remainder Trust and the
numerous positive benefits associated with those Trusts.
