Planned/Deferred Giving

Stock Transfer Information

Gifts of stock to St. Mary’s are processed through the Finance Office of the Archdiocese of Boston. They offer three simple ways to donate securities.

Endowed Funds

St. Mary’s provides the opportunity for you to remember or honor a family member, friend, classmate, or former teacher by creating an endowed fund in their name (s).

There is a minimum amount needed to be donated to such a fund which can be done initially, over a period of time, or as a bequest. The purpose of the fund can be for any need such as: scholarships, financial assistance, faculty development, technology, maintenance, etc. Each year, St. Mary’s will typically distribute 5% of the principal and earnings of the endowed fund to provide greater opportunity for the school’s young men and women.  The remaining balance will grow in an investment according to the investment profile established by the St. Mary’s Board of Trustees. The endowed fund will, therefore, exist in perpetuity in memory of, or in the honor of, the person or family of your choice.

To learn more about creating an endowed fund at St. Mary’s, please contact:
Mike MacNeil, Director of Institutional Advancement, at 781-599-0696.
