The Athletic shuttle will be leaving from the Pleasant Street side of the gymnasium each day at 2:30 and 2:50 beginning Tuesday, September 7.The Girls Softball team has won back-to-back Division III State Titles and the Girls Hockey team was won three straight Division 1 State Titles!!
The Spartans softball team defeated Murdock, 11-1, on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Worcester State College to win their second straight championship. In 2009 they became the first softball team in the history of the City of Lynn to win a softball state title, doing so with an 8-5 win over Monty Tech.
3-PEAT, Girls Hockey defeats Woburn, 7-2, at the Boston Garden, Sunday, March 14, 2010 for their third consecutive Division 1 State Title. Congratulations to the 2008, 2009 and 2010 St. Mary's Girl's Hockey teams, the Division 1 State Hockey Champions. Back-to-back-to-back state championships and 77 consecutive unbeaten games.
We have 23 sports in our athletic program and field over 40 teams at the junior high, freshman, junior varsity and varsity levels. Our sports teams compete in the very strong Catholic Central League (CCL), which is the largest league in the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association.
Abby Gauther (photo on the left), Class of 2008, skates as a member of the Providence College Ice Hockey team in a game against Ohio State. Amanda Webster (photo on right), Class of 2009, fighting for the soccer ball, is a member of the Providence College Women's Soccer team. Both St. Mary's graduates recieved full athletic scholarships.
