Tori Faieta '11 Commits to Stonehill College

on a Full Basketball Scholarship

Lynn- St. Mary’s Center Tori Faieta, Class of 2011, has committed to play at
Stonehill College on a full basketball scholarship. Stonehill College is a member
of the Northeast-10 Conference and has been ranked in the top 25 in the country two
of the last three years.

With her senior season to go, Faieta is the Spartans female all-time leading
scorer with 1,105 points and all-time leading rebounder with 1,117. In the
2009-2010 season she scored 370 points, which is the top scoring season for
any female in school history. Faieta is a 3-time Catholic Central League All-Star
and 2-time Spartan Classic Most Valuable Player.

She is the first girl’s basketball player to receive a full-basketball scholarship and
the third St. Mary’s female athlete in four years to receive a full athletic scholarship,
joining Amanda Webster (soccer) and Abby Gauthier (hockey), both of whom
attend Providence.
